Sineu is the capital of the spring fairs, it is the town that summons more visitors for "Sa Fira", it is the oldest in Majorca (Sancho settled down for the king's privilege, in the year 1318); it takes place annually on first Sunday of May. It is eminently agricultural fair, cattleman and handmade that has conserved the tradition and the sense of the extraordinary market very well yearly. Every year it stays the situation of the stops that they exhibit products of all breed: fruits, vegetables, plants and clothes to the square of the Church and the biggest street; birds in San Marcos' perron: seats, foot stairways and ceramic below; cutlery in the alley of the vicar, etc. The livestock occupies the whole square of the Market.

Sineu celebrates its "patronal fiesta" of the "Mare de Déu d'Agost", August 15, with games, artificial fires, parties, verbenas, etc...
Other popular parties
Other parties that take place in Sineu are: San Marcos, pattern of the town, April 25 and San Antonio, January 17, with the typical bonfires, demons and "torradas."
